E/W build(first/second build - need help)
Ok, I posted a W/E build in the warrior forum, but after thinking about it, this might be the better way to go. Here is my addenum to the previous thread:
Ammount of skill points in each:
Earth-Primary
Tactics - Secondary
Energy - Third
Aura of Restoration
Deadly Riposte
Magnetic Armor
Earthquake
Aftershock
Disciplined Stance
Armor of Earth
Ward Against Mele
It would, essentially work the same way, where the pre-cast is:
Armor of Earth
Disciplined Stance
Magnetic Armor
Aura of Restoration
Then as the battle starts I would cast Earthquake, followed by Aftershock for suppementary damage. Then I would cast Ward Against Mele and follow it up by spamming Earthquake, Aftershock, Deadly Repoiste and re-casting the pre-casts when needed.
The energy pool would be greater and more damage would be delt without sacrificing healing (the aura which will heal me whenever i cast) or defense...
So any suggestions?

What is this for? PvP? PvE?
In PvP, the moment an ele put on armor of earth, he/she is automatically one of the lower on the priority list to take down for me (unless I got a few enchantment removal with me). In that case, deadly repose, magnetic aura, disciplined stance will all become quite useless. Magnetic aura is a pretty bad skill to begin with (by itself), I don't suggest you to use it.
You really need more firepower, at this moment, all opponent only run past you; soon after you will be quite lonely in the battle field.
Well, if the opponent team actually were newbie enough to focus on you first, then I think it is an auto win for you guys (if they got no enchantment removal).

Im sorry for not being specific; this is a PVE build.
With it I hope to be able to solo-farm some mid-level emisaries such as Sand Drakes, Griffons (i have never seen these, Ive heard they're good for farming), and maybe Hydras (although not likely)... and other good farm spots.
I also want it to be a good team player both as a tank and as a nuker...
Really I just want to be able to not be overly-dependent on a group.

Hmm, you can tank with those alright (in an area without enchant removal).
You might as well take gladiator's defense (cap in dragon's lair) with you, or maybe even obsidian flesh (cap outside of ember light camp).
Shouldn't bother with ward if you are soloing; bring ward if teaming up with people.
Should also consider crystal wave if you are hunting higher level area.
Aura of restoration will offer you little to not enough heal, maybe try healing signet.

Thanks alot man, I will definetly take those into consideration. I have been fighting between signet and aura, so I will test them out when the time comes. Il also look into the crystal and I agree with the ward as well. Ill probably keep it untill the cap (since I doubt ill be doing much soloing before Dragon's) and then Ill use that.
Thanks for the insight, really helpful.

I have a similar build with:
Armor of Earth
Gladiator's Defense (E)
Earthquake
Aftershock
Bonetti's defense
Defensive Stance
Healing Signet
Dolyak Signet
It works decently to farm griffons, but the problem is gathering them up, since you tend to get badly messed up by them while running by.
I'm considering using mist form for that part, though it takes a skill slot =/

Im not really sure what gathering means... do you prefer to fight with big groups? Is the drop better then, say, fighting them one by one.
Or does gathering mean they run away?

Gathering means getting a large group of griffons together then engaging. The reason why you want to face as many at once as possible is that if you're using AoE you'll kill more mobs per minute.

Ahh ok... so if we don't mind waiting, just taking them on one at a time wouldn't really be a problem?
Sorry for the ignorance, its been months since I have played this.
